Today, Bollywood has lost one of its gems, the late Pamela Chopra.

She was admitted in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after diagnosed with Pneumonia.She was 74 years of age.

She was the wife of the late Yash Chopra and the mother of Aditya and Uday Chopra.

She was born on February 19, 1949, in Lahore, Pakistan.

She married the Late director Yash Chopra in 1970 and they were married until Yash Chopra’s death in 2012, just before the release of Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Pamela Chopra and Yash Chopra were considered to be one of the most influential couples in the Indian film industry, and their marriage was seen as a great example of love and commitment.

After Yash Chopra’s death, Pamela Chopra has continued to be involved in the Indian film industry and has worked on several film projects.

She has produced many iconic films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Veer Zara.

She has also sung playback for movies like Kabhi Kabhi and Dil To Pagal Hai.

She has won many awards. They are as follows:

  3. Punjabi Icon Award in 2014
  4. Zed Cine Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2017

  6. Priyadarshini Academy’s Smita Patil Memorial Award in 2019
