SHIVAMOGGA AIRPORT-an ease towards Comfortable Living

 At Shivamogga, the newest airport in Karnataka was opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 27th february 2023.

 Shivamogga Airport, which cost Rs 450 crore to build, will improve air connectivity in central Karnataka. 

The Shivamogga airport’s lotus-shaped passenger terminal building can accommodate 300 passengers an hour. 

The Center’s UDAN programme, which aims to make air travel affordable for everyone, funded the construction of the brand-new domestic airport at Sogane in the Shivamogga district.
